Dr. Farryl Franklin is a native of Ridgeland, MS. She received the Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, MS where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Franklin obtained the Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Franklin received extensive training in contact lens fittings, ocular disease, and pre/post-operative care. She is a member of the 2019-2020 Leadership Optometry Class, American Optometric Association, Mississippi Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, and the Mississippi Chapter of the National Optometric Association where she serves as Vice President. She holds life membership with the Tougaloo College Alumni Association. Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
